Participants are trained in comprehensive wound assessment, including wound bed evaluation, measurement techniques, exudate assessment, odor, tissue type identification (e.g., granulation, slough, necrosis), and surrounding skin condition. Accurate documentation and staging of pressure injuries according to internationally recognized classification systems are emphasized.

Practical components include hands-on demonstrations of wound cleansing, dressing selection and application, use of advanced wound care products (such as hydrocolloids, alginates, foams, and antimicrobial dressings), and management of complex wounds, including diabetic foot ulcers, surgical wounds, and pressure injuries.

Participants will obtain a certification of attendance after successful completion of a theoretical and practical assessment.
